Suspended Colorado medical marijuana doctors sue state board
Four Colorado doctors whose licenses were suspended earlier this week based on allegations that they over-recommended high plant counts for too many medical marijuana patients have filed suit over the punishment.
The four doctors say they were suspended based on unwritten rules and weren’t given a chance to present their sides. They are asking a judge to block the suspensions and allow the doctors to go back to practicing medicine. A hearing has been scheduled for 3 p.m. Friday in Denver District Court.
