State proposes hike in fees for medical marijuana growers

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — The Oregon Health Authority is considering charging medical marijuana growers $200 a year for each patient they serve.

That’s a significant hike from the current fee of $50 per patient.

Oregon law allows medical marijuana growers to grow cannabis for up to four patients.
