Pennsylvania Medical Marijuana Bill Clears Final Senate Committee

HARRISBURG, PA —  A bill that could bring some forms of medical marijuana to patients in Pennsylvania cleared a final committee on Monday, and will now be sent to the floor of the Senate for a vote as early as Wednesday.

The bill, Senate Bill 3, was reported out of the Senate Appropriations Committee by a vote of 21-4.  The committee did not make any major amendments to the bill before advancing the measure.
