No CU freshmen sought medical pot housing exemption this year

BOULDER — The University of Colorado in Boulder says no freshmen are using a housing exemption because they use medical marijuana.


The change comes despite CU having a record freshman class.

The Daily Camera reports that the campus requires freshmen to live on campus but will make exceptions for pot patients. Marijuana use is banned on campus.

The school has seen as many as 17 medical marijuana exemptions to the housing policy per year.
