Medical marijuana dispensary in North Phoenix receives backlash from residents

Phoenix – A North Phoenix neighborhood is fired up over the possibility of a new medical marijuana dispensary opening up in the area.

If approved, “Swell Farmacy” would open near 32nd Street and Shea Boulevard in April.

Dozens of residents showed up to a hearing Thursday afternoon at Phoenix City Hall to protest the permit.
