Medical Cannabis Will Start Being Sold Monday

Medical cannabis will be sold in the state of Illinois for the first time Monday.

8 dispensaries will have medical marijuana for sale.

That includes one in Quincy and one in Canton.

According to the Illinois Department of Public Health, 3,300 patients have qualified for medical cannabis.

Qualifying patients have been getting cards within the last week.
