Limited High-CBD/Low-THC Medical Mairijuana Bills Advance in Texas

AUSTIN, TX — Lawmakers in both chambers of the Texas legislature have given preliminary approval to companion legislation to allow the use medical marijuana extracts rich in cannabidoil (CBD) for patients suffering from uncontrollable epilepsy, advancing the bills out of committee and sending them to the floor of their respective chambers for a vote.
