Letters: Huntington Beach smart on banning pot

I would like to thank the Huntington Beach City Council and our city attorney, Michael Gates, for their wise vote Tuesday that kept medical marijuana dispensaries out of our beautiful city. I completely disagree with the editorial entitled, “Clinging to past on pot” [Opinion, Nov. 5], which said the city should reverse its stance and start letting the dispensaries do business in our city.
