Legislative session opens with plenty of unfinished business

As state lawmakers return to the Gold Dome today, they will be tackling many of the same issues they did a year ago.

Education reform is expected to be at the top of Gov. Nathan Deal’s agenda once again this legislative session including a controversial proposal for merit pay for teachers.  The idea was among the recommendations from his Education Reform Commission.
