Iowa mother taking hemp oil fight to D.C.: 'We need more stories'
The fight to change laws that govern medical hemp oil has taken a central Iowa woman to Washington D.C. this week. She and a group of mothers from around the country are meeting with members of Congress.

The issue is therapeutic hemp oil, which many Iowa patients are using now because they can’t legally acquire medical cannabis oil. At the federal level, hemp oil is considered a version of marijuana, which makes it illegal to ship across state lines.
