Iowa Legislature set to tackle range of issues

DES MOINES, Iowa — Another Iowa legislative session will begin at 10 a.m. Monday, and local legislators say they have a lot they hope to accomplish.

Some of the main issues include water quality initiatives, mental health funding, the managed care program and the overall state budget, for which legislators will have to agree on how much to devote to education.
