Illinois Adds Patients and Medical Marijuana Sales Hit $3.3 Million in August

On Sept. 7, 2016, the Illinois Medical Cannabis Pilot Program announced that the Illinois Department of Public Health had approved applications for a total of 10,033 qualifying patients. The program also noted that retail sales of medical cannabis hit approximately $3.3 million in August, logging a slight increase from July’s sales figures.
