Bondi won't fight medical-pot initiative this time

TALLAHASSEE — Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi, who strongly opposed a medical marijuana measure that appeared on the 2014 ballot, is staying on the sidelines this time around.

Bondi’s office acknowledged Monday that the state’s top legal officer is remaining silent on whether the Supreme Court should block the latest version of the ballot initiative.
