Bill to Extend Illinois Medical Marijuana Pilot Program Advances to Senate Floor

SPRINGFIELD, IL — A bill to expand Illinois’ medical marijuana pilot program beyond 2017 has advanced to the Senate floor after receiving a favorable committee vote this week.

House Bill 3299 was approved by the Senate Executive Committee Wednesday with an 8-3 vote. The bill, which has already passed in the House, now heads to the Senate floor for a vote.
