The Department of Justice (DOJ) has dropped its civil forfeiture action against Harborside Health Center in Oakland, CA.

The case was brought by the DOJ back in 2011 as part of a federal crackdown against legal state medical cannabis dispensaries. HARRISBURG, PA — Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf (D) made a surprise appearance at a medical marijuana rally at the Capitol on Monday, calling out House Speaker Mike Turzai (R) for stalling a medical marijuana bill that passed the Senate last year.

Michigan Marijuana Legalization Drive Enters Home Stretch

LANSING, MI — Advocates hoping to place the issue of marijuana legalization before Michigan voters in November announced Tuesday that they have collected over 240,000 signatures to date, and hope to collect 150,000 more by mid-March.

Since MILegalize began collecting signatures last summer, the organization has collected over 240,000 total voter signatures statewide.  In order to qualify for the 2016 ballot, the state requires 252,000 valid signatures be collected by March 15, 2016.
