Three Marijuana Legalization Bills Filed in New Hampshire

CONCORD, NH — With New Hampshire’s 2016 legislative session now underway, three separate proposals to legalize marijuana for adults have been introduced to the state legislature.

House Bill 1610, co-sponsored by Reps. Michael Sylvia (R-Belknap) and Robert Hull (R-Grafton), would allow adults 21 or older to possess up to two ounces of marijuana, grow up to six cannabis plants (three of which may be mature), and give up to one ounce of marijuana to another adult without financial compensation.  As written, the bill does not authorize…
