Poll: Less Than 20% of Texans Want Jail Time for Marijuana Possession

AUSTIN, TX — Nearly three out of four Texans support reforming the Lone Star State’s current marijuana laws, according to a statewide poll released Wednesday.

According to an independent statewide poll conducted earlier this month by the Texas Lyceum, a non-partisan, nonprofit statewide leadership group, just under 75% of those surveyed believe that marijuana should either be legalized or decriminalized.
