Michigan Officials Approve 2 Marijuana Legalization Petitions for Signature Gathering
LANSING, MI — Two competing marijuana legalization initiatives aimed at the November 2016 ballot have been approved by state officials to begin collecting signatures.
Michigan’s Board of State Canvassers approved the two petitions Thursday, and both campaigns can begin collecting the 252,523 signatures required to place their proposals before voters in 2016.
